LEARN TRADITIONAL IRISH MUSIC AT HOCHSTEIN
Through a generous subsidy from the Joe Dady Memorial Scholarship, CCÉ members can take these new classes at a considerable discount. Here’s how it works:
Most folks will start off with our 9-week introductory course, Trad 101, which uses tin whistle instruction and light historical lecture to ground the student in the basic concepts and contexts that make Irish traditional music what it is.
From here, we offer 200- and 300-level lessons in:
Under the subsidy, adults pay $135/ 9-week quarter (>20% off the usual Hochstein rate) and U18 students pay $99 (>40% off).
